Oil Filler Cap Breather

Hi All,
My oil filler cap has a breather pipe (Garden Hose?) jubilee clipped to it that routes round the rear sub- frame and is gererally pointed at the rear sprocket. (DIY Scottoiler?).
I'm assuming the garden hose is wrong, but should the bike have a breather, if so where should it go?
Cheers,
Dave.

Hi dave from looking at mine it appears to have a pipe running from the air box to the cam cover ,looks like the crankcase breathes through where the cam chain runs in the centre of the head , I would be a bit concerned if it is breathing heavy enough to be a chain lube type system .Has the air box been removed on yours

It still has the standard air box fitted. I was joking about the Scottoiler, I have never seen anything at all coming out of the garden hose, but didn't want to to put a standard cap on it in case I blew something. Does your bike just have a standard cap on the oil filler?
Dave.

Thanks Pete. I will purchase a new standard filler cap and ditch the garden hose. Thanks.
