thats normal. and common.
repair with plastex, or use a couple of small self tappers from the underside into the seat base to secure

same thing with mine mate, as said, common as hell. iv manedged to fix one side of mine with plastex but iv bought some self adhisive velcro and will be using that laced all around both the seat and fairing. :)

+1 plastex. I'd never used it before and found it easy to repair.

its liquid plastic ! plastic in a bottle. i fixed something with plastex and tested its strength 24 hours later by bending it to see if the fix gave.......it broke at a fresh area of the plastic and not the area fixed lol awsome stuff and easy to use.

That's the stuff. I had exactly the same thing happen as Lizard. I was flexing the newly repaired joint to see how strong it was, and ended up cracking the fairing somewhere else. It's bastard strong once it's cured.

I've repaired it 4 times but tabs keep breaking off because when you take off the seat unit you have to flex it to clear the water reservoir and the rectifier. I think a good solution would be to replace the tabs with thick rubber ones. My question is, what glue should I use to fix the rubber tabs to the inside of the fairing?
