Hi guys. Sorry it's been ages since I've been on here.
Anyway I'm wanting to know what you guys thing about this.
Once I've finished fitting the fairing and seat unit I'm going to take a mould and make myself a few spares for racing. I was basically wondering if any fellow racers/track day speed demons would be interested in them and I may make more subframes/fairings. I'd only knock them out at cost plus a tiny bit for my time making them.

I like it

The seat unit could do with being a little bit slimmer to give it a proper Moto2 look but it's nice. Are you racing in Thunderbikes next year?

Excuse the bad potatochop, but something like this-
The rear of the tail should stop just before the rear edge of the tyre or the seat just looks wrong, and ideally should follow the same line as the standard seat near the frame rails. I know it sound like I'm being picky but I'm not because if you get the lines right they'll sell really well I think. Did you use an RS125 seat as a base? I tried using an RS250 one but it was too fat and looked rubbish, I was going for this-
sort of shape (the bike, not Andrea Iannone!) but don't have a lot of patience with fibreglass
Anyway, if you did make a mould and were going to make a few sets up, I'd have a couple for my bikes.

I tried for months and months to get a crashed set of those fairings from FTR. They had them but refused to sell them or even a new set. It was something to do with Aprillia owning the rights to them as the speedup team used an FTR but bought the fairings from aprillia.
Oh and yes I'll be back out racing again next year, the poor FZR has had 2 years without being raced although I did borrow a friends CB500 for the Thundersport round at Brands Hatch last year. I ended up slinging the thing down Padock Hill bend, that hurt a little bit.
Are there any pics of yours Kayla? How much torque is yours making?

I did a bit of a build thread here-
viewtopic.php?f=35&t=24629
but it was more about getting it up and rideable than making it pretty! Then I slung it down the road at Cadwell and it's been languishing, unloved, in the garage ever since. Once we've got a bit more space to work on stuff I'll get it started again. I have no idea how much power or torque it's making but it's pretty light- around 165kg with some fuel- so I reckon it'd be pretty much bang on the power to weight limit for Thunderbikes
