Hey guys I'm buying nc30, I am going to look at one going for £1000 what are the thing I should be aware of when viewing this bike? IT'S a ROSSI REPLICA should I stay away from race replicas?
Any advice would be great.
Thanks Alistair

I think Standard is best but for a grand you should be able to get something more than road worthy

There is a good buyers guide on the front page of this site, it has alot of info about pricing, common faults, etc. Where about in the country are you? Im sure someone would be willing to come along and check the bike out with you!

Ask them to take the fairings off and look at the state of the engine and fastenings, if it looks bodged then you'll have some work on your hands. Are there oil leaks etc ...
Look at the raditaor at the bottom they catch all the crap from the wheel - is it full of mud are the fins all bent.

If you don't know about bikes take somebody with you and don't be scared to walk away or say you'll let them know in a couple of days .... take some pictures with a camera and look at the condition at home
