RVF Tyre & chain hitting?

I have just fitted a 160/60/17 rear tyre to my rvf is this tyre to big as it is to close to my chain & when i ride they are hitting?
Or am i being stupid & there is a way to move the wheel out abit?
If anyone can tell me where im going wrong it would be a big help.

to wide, a previous owner fitted a 160 and it cut a gouge in the undertray and took some of the wall of the tyre off, not recomended without spacing it over.

you could probably do with getting a spacer kit from Rick Oliver..for this purpose!

Sounds like a spacer kit from Rick Oliver maybe the way to go, any ideas how much i would be looking at?

Also what is the standard rear tyre size?

Try a 520 chain, I've never had an issue with 160 tyres

Does this not ruin the wheel alignment if you space the wheel out?
