No but they should be interchangable.

The NC24 has revised engine internals (much closer to what ended up in the NC30) than the NC21 and of course the single sided swinger but the frames are idential (you can transplant the NC24 swinger no trouble)

NC21: 52400ML0013

NC24: 52400ML0731

As you can see it's only the last 3 digits that are different, this indicates a newer revision to the shock, the basics are the same.. perhaps the spring rate or gas are slightly different to accout for the (presumably) heavier SS arm of the 24.

If your struggling for a shock and theres an NC24 one cheap it should drop right in without affecting the handling too much.
