£660 somehow had a full mot dispite the fork seals going about 2 weeks later and the only advisory was for a rear tyre
they seem to be sll fetching a grand plus so i suppose i have £350 to make it better

NC30's have known poor elecectrical system.. reg/rec is undersized, it cannot cope with an old battery, it'll easily burn out if you have a weak battery on the bike and can take the altenator out too. Easy enough to test and diagnose and cheap.
All bikes need service and maintannce... bearings go, seals go. Most of the are knocking on for 20+ years old.. lot of time to be messed about with, bits missing, carb parts mixed up.
Engines are pretty bullet proof so long as they havn't been too badly abused but if it's been really neglected it can add up when you replace chain, sprocket / tyres / seals and bearings.
It should all come together though in the end! :)
Infills are as already said standard.

£660 is cheap for a hack, should have seen the state of my NC30 when i got it and i paid £750, and needed new rear tyre, and new carbs.
