Seeing as the HRC units are super hard to come by are the ignitech units just as good? This may seem a silly question as i know they can be loaded with the HRC map but coming from the V4 world back to back testing on standard engines shows the ingnitech's down on power even compared to standard CDI's where as im told the HRC units on the 29's work well even on standard motors.

I asked Rick O about this the other day as he had said that Mike Norman had found this with the ignitechs. He was unsure why this was the case. If you can afford it I would always go with genuine. They may be hard to find but not impossible!

cant comment on the ignitech but there is a noticable difference between standard and HRC with my SOTP Dyno.

There was one for sale in the classifieds the other day
