I'm trying to learn how to create vector images with Adobe Illustrator, this is my 2nd attempt. My first was http://i.imgur.com/5jf0O.png.

Image

For those designing their own paint schemes, hopefully this should come in handy. If anyone wants the .ai vector file (for those not in the know, it means it can be scaled up infinitely without losing quality as it'll just redraw itself - like clipart) let me know. I know I fucked bits up; front wheel, handlebar area (my reference image wasn't great around that bit) and around the foot peg, but the fairings are what counts, so hopefully this will come in handy for someone.

Oh and since it's vector I can easily remove bits like rear foot peg, indi's, plate hanger, mirror etc if anyone wants me to.

looks good

if you save that as an SVG it will be much more usable and cross platform. You can even link up svgs on the website as browsers can render them.

I use Inkscape for vector on Linux, Its free and available on windows and macs also. http://inkscape.org/download/
