Opinions needed on paint jobs....

I need to get my nc29 painted as most of the panels are silver/black/teal but I have one red/white/blue panel and the tank is in need of some tlc.

So because of the silver/black/teal stuff I thought I might paint it all the same so it looks nice and fresh but I've been thinking of a change altogether, like maybe the all black scheme with just the CBR and HONDA in silver, maybe a little pearl in the lacquer.

What do you think ?

This one?

Thats the very first nc29 I laid my eyes on and always wanted this colour but for me now at least white is the colour to have as it stands out so well, the rear tends to lose the beutiful fin look in a dark colour I think and the amount of attention my bike gets from the ladies especially seems to confirm this, also in the melee that is the local bike meet you can spot my bike a mile away it stands out that much. On the plus side the decals will be very easy to apply and wont cost much.

get pics up when your done.

The black is nice and would be the easiest, cheapest to do but I think the White purple and red fireblade scheme is by far the best.

yeah the white/purple bike is nice but my cbr isn't run of the mill, it's got a black frame and swing arm so i think white (bright) schemes dont work as well on it as they would on a silver framed bike.

Repaint what it is but replace the teal with Milano red.

The teal would look more modern if the stripe on the fairing was parrallel to the one on the tank. Would update the look without altering it too much. Who's got photoshop????
Or maybe use a black base colour with the red/white/purple graphics ? :o

Way back my mate, who's bike that was produced a passenger rail cum wheel stand called a "jack on the back" for most of the 400s and GSXR 750, it sold quite well and was featured in MCN at the time, in fact he could not keep up with demand but he lost interest as time went on. Here is the jack on an nc30, it could lift the front or rear of even the nc30 by the roadside, and handy for a passenger to use.

Sounds like a good idea and a missed opportunity to expand into more bike models
