Fully charge the battery
Full choke no throttle.
Try that first. I've had them that will crank but not start.
also.. kill switch isn't on is it?

Fuel has probably evaporated from the float chambers.

When I was 1st trying to start the bike with full chock I realised I had the kill switch on

but turned it off and still wouldn't start, might have flooded it , I'll charge battery and try again , thanks for all help , is there any think I should do to the bike while storing over winter ?

How are you storing it?
If it's in a place you can start it and run it for a bit then I wouldn't take any special precautions other than full tank.
Once a week, two weeks at most start it up and warm it up (2 - 4000rpm) and let it run until the fan kicks in, stops and then kicks in again, this will get everything hot enough to get the moisture out the oil etc.

Does fuel still get pumped to the carbs with the kill switch on? Just asking, like, as it may be the reason for my slight engine flooding last night...
