nc21 valve clearances

is it easy to check and set valve clearances on my nc21
i understand you need to check this before balancing carbs
any help guidance appreciated can a noob like me do this
got balancers to use and a great guide how to use them

How longs a piece of string?

Depends on your competence and mechanical ablilty.

I wouldn't say it's a very difficult job but it can be time-consuming and fiddly, especially the first time you do it.

You need to remove the tank, remove the carbs help too.

Remove the rocker box covers and then check and set the valves.

You need some feeler gauges.

Have a look on youtube at valve clearance adjustment and you'll get some vidoes

is checking the clearances the same as in the valve clearance guide
align the t for top centre turn do the next one
mine an older bike wondered if its slightly different procedure

Similar but the cams are different as the engine fires 180 degrees so your timings are all differet, also you don't need shims, they have screw adjustable lock-nuts.
