Hi guys, RVF with 44000 miles on is running great on a 'not for road use' can, feels stifled on a Honda silencer.
I'm desperate to fit a full tyga system, but am only a 3 spanner Haynes mechanic, defo not 4 spanner. I want to do this for a few bhp, poss less noise, and to make the bike futureproof. Issue is I'm worried about disturbing something that runs really well - I can imagine snapping studs and generally screwing it up - I have experience as you can imagine...
So I'm thinking of a Tyga bolt on silencer onto stock Honda downpipes, and spend the balance at MCT getting front forks serviced, and poss the WP rear shock serviced if needed.
I'm using the bike just for a fun road riding bike, not track use. It's never going to be concours, or anything close.
What do you guys reckon? Full system or end can and suspension upgrade??

If the bike is running great as it is, I'd definitely spend the money on the suspension.

Agreed - suspension will actially make a difference you can feel.

Swapping an exhaust system is not too onerous..it can be a ballache but you cannot go too far wrong.

If you got the dollar...then get it setup and get some trackday action sorted. Win-win

Got my bike running sweet with new rebuilt and cleaned carbies.
Did a major service, Just ordered the Fork uprate kit and rear shock spacer.

Definitely suggest fitting the RO soft diapragm springs if you get a chance.

Cheers guys, got the bike worked on yesterday at MCT in Stowmarket.
Darren and Tom are top guys, worked all morning on the bike, overhauled forks with new springs, and also rear White Power shock was overhauled, with new spring, to suit weight and riding style. Just ridden it 50 miles home, feels like abrand new bike, in fact possibly better than some new bikes. Can't wait for warm weather.
Thanks for advice, this was much less than a new pipe, and professionals did all the work, which is better than me screwing something up.....
