Guys, I've taken a total mind blank.
Best way to swap a frame?
What way to support frame, swinger, sequence.

remove front end, remove rear wheel so frame on the deck, undo motor lift frame over the top
goes without saying chris, remove everything else first and ensure all bolts are loose

Also always consider what else needs doing. While you have the bike stripped down that far, you would be daft not to clean and lube the suspension linkages, re-grease the head bearings, maybe check the valves, lubing electrical connectors, etc. etc.... all those things which are such a PITA on a tiny compact bike which is in one piece but easy when you have it apart anyway. On the same lines, you can also take the opportunity to have any brackets (fan bracket is a favourite that will rust if left to its own devices) blasted and powder coated.
You'll have to take the exhaust off*, which is a shame and a pig to do. But while you are there you can renew all the gaskets, etc. and so give it a fresh start.
If you are doing this over any length of time, you should consider that some seals in the coolant system might dry out and spring a leak.
My best tip - take LOTS of digital photographs as you go, in a logical sensible sequence. It is easy to take one thing off and put it back or replace, but when you have the whole bike in bits, you are quite likely to forget whether that breather / cable / hose / HT lead has to go under or over that frame spar / carb / throttle cable, and so on.
*I guess you might find a way that doesn't require this, but it'd involve leaving the engine supported in a way that wouldn't be stable enough for my liking.

, i took photos but never enough , this can be a pta, especially as there was quite a time between strip down untill i started putting it back together again, placment of the loom was a bitch to remember but my memory kicked in on overdrive and bailed me out
