you cant mate need a small flat screwdriver but expect them to break and posibly damage the screen

was a casting lug intensionally made for the antiskip torsion bar as fitted to the RC30, but i guess mr honda decided it wasnt needed so never came fitted or supplied with, some people have upgraded to have the torsion bar though

New pins and speed nuts are available from Honda, it you do not want to use plastic or metal screws and nuts.
The book says cut off the end of the pin flush with the speed nut and prise off with a thin blade.

I did one but it marked the screen so I drilled the rest out.
Place cloth on the bench and position the fairing so that one of the pin heads is in contact with the worktop surface.
Using a small drill, carefully drill from the back into the hollow shank of the pin until the speed nut is free.
The pin may turn with the drill near completion, but keeping weight on the screen and thus the pin will help to hold it.
The speed nut will flick off anyway when the pin is almost drilled out
Carry on with the other 5.

I ended up getting these out without damaging them using a sharpened end of a needle file, re used them on the clear screen, which after being at the show today I realise is a genuine one.
