Small problem with R6 reg/rec

Just fitted an R6 reg/rec but the bolt from the seat hits it. What are the two bolts underneath the seat there for anyway? My seat is just held on by velcro so i am thinking of shortening the bolt.
Again i am going to borrow Cammos photo to show that I have mine mounted exactly the same
The bolt from the seat hits the top right hand side. Can't angle the reg/rec down more because it is sitting on the bolt at the bottom right.

Do you mean the two threads on the actual rider's seat? If so they hold the seat onto the seat unit.
I didn't come across this problem in the pic above because I wasn't using the original seat.
You could always remove some more material from the reg/rec (with a file) wherever you need to.

There is nothing under my seat to hold the seat other than velcro.
When i put the seat on the bolt is actually holding the seat up by a cm or two as it hits the reg/rec.
Basically what is that bolt under the seat for and can i remove it?

I removed both those bolts from the seat on my racebike as they would hit the seat fairing (not sure that I had the correct year NC30 seat which may have been the problem!). If your seat is held down only by velcro I'd remove the bolts, they're no use to you at the moment.

dremmel and ceramic disc or a junior hacksaw? unless you wanna take the seat cover and foam off to then have to MELT the plastic in which the bolt/thread is moulded into.

Haha awesome just wanted to be sure there wasnt an easy way before i got the hacksaw
