After having a double puncture this morning i need some help regarding a new rear tyre choices for my nc30 she was running on a 150/60/18 bridgestone bt090 are there any other choices or brands available ? The only reason i ask is the bike store have suggested 160/60/18 ? I know Dunlop have now discontinued the alpha 10's now
Bike gets ridden fairy hard and it commutes every day to work.

Recommendations Please .......

cheers Dan

i was running a bt21 in 16/60/18 just before i started my rebuild and was doing lots of miles daily and quite happy with it for a commuter , offers good grip and has lasted well

Whats wrong with another BT090 or BT092 if you want a bit more mileage?

160/60 in 18 inch are big old balloons...IMO

150/60/18 in a BT92 is the doozy for getting some mileage

Ive got a BT92 on atm and its lasted me well, not a huge diffrence in grip between that and the alpha 10 i had on before other than in the wet. And i ride quite hard but also commute to work on it.
