I have got hold of a decent pair of 1992 Fireblade calipers.
Are mounting brackets readily available for NC30's or will I have to get some made up?
Cheers.

If these are are the same as the rvf calipers then they won't fit to NC30's, no adapter plates are available.

They are identical to RVF calipers. You ought to be able to use RO's CBR'RR caliper mounting bracket as the mounting points are identical. But ISTR some owners had trouble due to the later calipers' bigger casting?

I don't see why anyone would "upgrade" to 1992 fireblade calipers though. They won't perform very much better and will probably be in the same approximate state of corrosion as 1990 nc30 calipers. The ones to get are 929 / 954 / 600RR / SP1/2 calipers. The gold body corresponds to teflon-coated alloy pistons, which really do work well with lower friction (in theory) and lower corrosion rates (verifiable).

Occasionally a pair will come up on eBay at sensible money, but not too often! You could hook up to your existing master but would be better off with a 5/8" as the 14mm would probably have an over-long lever throw and be "spongy".

The rvf calipers (and early fireblade for the op) foul on the nc30 fork leg. No go.

That'll be the reason why. Oh well, he will have to abort and fetch some of the (far superior) later calipers then

Thanks for all the replies.
Calipers weren't meant as an upgrade, as I don't have any to start with, I bought some black NC calipers from a seller on here in August, but as yet has sent nothing and no refund
