Im looking for some specs on the engine/ camshafts of the VFR for a uni project.
Dunno if anyone has a workshop manual that they are in.
After:

Stroke (mm) - 42
Compression ratio - 11.3
Igntion Timing
Valve Lift IN (mm) - 7.7
Valve Lift EX (mm) - 7.2
IN Valve open (Deg BTDC) - 15
IN Valve closes (Deg - ABDC) - 35
EX Valve open (Deg BBDC) - 35
Ex Valve close (DEG ATDC) - 5

Any values people could supply would be great. :)

I think this has most of the information you're after:

This pic has the nc30 and nc35 camshaft lift (same for both models) and duration (different) on it:

Very informative diagram 'cammo'. Are there HRC cams and if so is ther info on lift and duration?

There were hrc cams offered for the nc30, my dodgy translation of the F3 kit manual sees intake and exhaust valve lift increased 0.3 mm over standard lift. Not sure about duration differences.
Bare in mind the kit cams will require the kit pistons with suitable crown cutaways.
There's a copy of the nc30 TT-F3 manual in the document libarary, info on cams on page 1-11:

I degree'd my HRC grinds today and came up with these numbers:
Valve Lift IN (mm) - 8.0mm
Valve Lift EX (mm) - 7.5mm
*IN Valve open (Deg BTDC) - 18
*IN Valve closes (Deg - ABDC) - 49
*EX Valve open (Deg BBDC) - 43
*Ex Valve close (DEG ATDC) - 13
Duration Inlet - 247
Duration Exhaust - 236
* Degree'd to 105 centrelines and at 1mm lift
Now I just need to double-check my piston/valve clearance....

Russian roulette? If you bend the valves you screwed it up :D

Haha, I'm not running it yet!
I just dialled the cams to the correct place and then removed the heads to measure the clearance before realising I had blue-tac instead of plasticine. It should be fine though as I am running standard rods and no head skim but I don't want to take any chances.
