VFR 400 NC21 17" Rear Wheel Conversion

Hello, I was wondering if anyone has ever done a rear wheel conversion on the NC21 (I'm not after changing the whole back end to a NC24 etc etc). If anyone has done a conversion like this, could you please tell me which rim off which bike will fit in directly or whether I need to modify a few things.
The reason I want to do this is because I miss my wide selection of tyres

.
Thanks,
Luke.

Dead easy on the NC21.
Uses a standard swinger so whatever you can get to fit in there.
Nothing is going to just bolt right in, especially when you are changing wheel sizes.
I'd consider an NC29 rear wheel.
The wheel will fit right in, just need to use appropriate spacers, between the original spacers and the NC29 spacers if you get them you should be able to make it fit without much difficulty at all.
I've seen an NC21 running a 160/60/17 tyre before and it was running what looked like a CBR400 rim but I never saw the owner in person (was at a bike meet a few years ago) to ask.
However, from memory the spacers didn't look home-made so must have been some combination of spacers from different bikes.

Thanks for that, do you know whether the NC29 front rim will fit as well? Means that I can run a 120 on the front

It'll fit but it's more complicated than first looks.
The NC29 uses a 296mm disc and a different mounting pattern to the NC2x's 276mm disc.
I don't think the calipers will line up / fit the disc and nothing else will bolt directly on.
Perhaps you can mod something to fit but it isn't straight forward.
The earlier CBR400 aero et al use the same mounting disc pattern as the NC2x but run a 110/70/17 so I believe this will be easiest to fit
