i'm going to try put the full ethos exhaust on, need some advice & wanted to know what mods to do on the carbs?

first the carbs, not sure to try this myself or get the shop to do this properly. have read about the RO hrc slide springs.

is there anything else i should look to get for the carby, velocity stacks? btw this is used daily as a road bike.

should i get it dynoed?

what will i need to change the exhaust system, tools? any tips? should i use ring or sleeve gaskets?

& any other mods i should look to do?

Yes, Dyno it after you have swapped it over and get the graph posted up.

Copper/Alu ring gaskets for the exhaust ports - Ethos doesn't need owt between the pieces.

No point going for the HRC kit and so on if it is a road bike. You'll not get much power and whatever you do get will be pushed further up the rev range.

Going from a stock system to a full system means you'll generally want to up the jetting for it to run optimally

It depends on whether you can be stuffed doing the carbs or you want to pay someone else to do it.

If it's a genuine full system changing the main jets to 112 or 115 all round (depending on location etc) wouldn't be too far off the mark. Rick's hrc slide springs are a good idea also and would complement this setup in my opinion.

Have a full system i want to install and want to have all the bits in place so i can just attack the job in one foul swoop and be done with it.

i have gaskets but thinking i should get exhaust studs and nuts just in case. If so, where to buy, OEM or not?

Most aftermarket systems, especially ones designed for the Japanese bikes are designed to run with the standard jettings.

Since they do breath easier though you can install larger jets.

There are many recommended combinations on this forum for the NC30 and NC35.

If you want to get it running perfect for your bike then a few hours at a dyno operator who knows these bikes will be worth it to get the bike dialed in.

Follow the recommended setups on here to get it almost perfect then a dyno run or two to tweak the bike.

I am not fazed about carb re-jetting bcoz cammeo guide is awesome so wouldn't be worried about that.

I just want all the bits to hand so i don't have to half do the job and then have to go at it a week later

I just did the RO Slide springs on my 35, and it seems to pull alot earlier than before.

Highly recommend it.

When I put together the nc30 carb guide I didn't have a set of rvf carbs lying around, if I did I would have documented it at the same time.

Unfortunately, I'm on holiday in greece for the next 5 days

So It'll have to wait till I get back.
