NC24 Rebuilding Head

Hi,

I have had my cylinder heads off, cleaned and I have been putting them back on again and putting the cams ect back in them. When putting the cams back is it the same as doing the timing? I mean making sure the engine is at TDC1 and lining the cams up with the marks on the housing, and then doing the same for the other sent but on TDC2.
I only moved the engine on from TDC1 to TDC2, no full rotations, is that correct?
I have been rotating the engine anti clockwise, is that the right way? It also gets harder to turn at certain points, is that right too?

To cut a long story short if anyone has a guide on the correct replacement of the cams that would be a great help!

you are doing it right - get it lined up as you would for the valve clearances.
