- make sure you throttle cable & choke cables are in the right positions to refit once the carbs are located.
- make sure ALL rubber clamp screws are lose "Stupidly lose" as the rubbers need to stretch for the carbs to seat properly, you can smear a bit of red rubber grease in if you want to,
- the front 2 carb rubbers face the choke side
- the rear 2 carb rubbers face upwards
- drop the idle adjustor screw into the gap in the frame as you lower the carbs,
- locate the carbs into the front 2 rubbers, check underneath with a torch before applying pressure,
- apply pressure until they click into place youll hear the slide springs rattle if your lucky thats the reasuring sound i go by,
- using a small flat blade screwdriver (i used a 3.5mm Facom driver) lever Cylinder one rubber bike lightly and apply pressure downwards and keep the pressure applied
- do the same again to cylinder 3 and then apply further pressure until you hear the slide springs rattle again.
