Been going through the various posts regarding 160 rear tyres but not got answer!

I have standard rear wheel fitted atm with 150/60 17's fitted. Tyres are 10 years old and been hunting for bargins (fail) can i fit a 160 tyre to these wheels safely or do i need wider rim.

I checked my cbr6fv rear wheel against the cbr one and although overalll width was the same, the chainring offset looked like even with new spacers it wouldn't line up.

Is there a 600 wheel which fits straight in?

160 will fit but you might be close on the chain run.

Most racers on NC29s will be using the 4.5 std rim and 160s..
