the forks don't fit - you need to fit the sliders to the cbr stanchions

Hi CMSJ1
Sorry bud, thats what I meant, forks are cheep so have no issue sripping just to use the lowers.
I should have put this in the first post, I;ve got a set of calipers off SP1, is it best to go with standard NC30 calipers or use the SP1 calipers (with adapter plates)
Ta again

If you want, I've got a pair of NC30 calipers surplus to requirements....

SP1 calipers are likely to be better if the 30 calipers are old and manky. You need to match the SP1 calipers with the correct master cylinder and you're also likely to need a new set of lines as the 30 ones are too short.

Hi Hadies,
Cheers !
tbh i will probably go with NC ones for the short term as my SP ones are (not suprisingly) fitted to the SP and until i get some brackets made to mount pfm 6 pots, won't be surplus to requirements.
I was toying with the idea of fitting the pfm calipers to the NC29, Have to check their website 2 see if they do discs for the 29,
lol, rear tyre wear would be minimal with that set up as it would never b on the ground.

Hi,
I wonder if anyone has the fork oil capacity, or the air gap measurement for NC30's, I don't have a manual, I am fitting NC30 fork lowers to cbr4RRR stanions to be able to fit NC30 calipers.
From memory i think the airgap on NC29 was 120mm, if its different on the NC30 would it best to go with 29 or 30 levels ?
Are the NC30 springs useable in NC29 stanions, only asking cause mine are right on service limit and i'd rather not buy new ones atm.
cheers.
