Fired up the bike again after installing the koso now Ive wired the rev wire (brown) into the cdi wire (yellow/green) that connected to the orginal speedo and it idles alright but rev it and it seems to loose the plot and and become unresponsive and lost!
Ive tried various settings 4Cylinder-4Piston, 2C-4P, 2C-1P with little change/sucess! Wondered if anyone can spread some light on it. Have read about there being a Hi - Lo setting but cant seem to find it?
Also anyone had to do the resistor mod due to removing the orginal clocks to prevent it going in to limp mode?
If anyone has the system with an 18" wheel and the mechanical to digital converter fitted a value for the speed setting would be great

James, have you tried the koso support forum?
http://www.kosoeurope.com/forum/index.php
And i take it youve read the install guides on their site
http://www.digital-speedos.co.uk/instal ... s-28-c.asp
Also from what i remember when i set up the speedo i used the guide from the a acewell unit i had as the koso one was non existant, i might still have it some where but you basically measure 1 full rotation of the rear wheel and multiple or divide (cant remember) that by the number of turns the speedo cable rotates. Tape same masking tape to the cable end like a flag so you can see how mant times it turns.

Will give the koso forum a go they are bound to know what the deal is.
Have read the speed guides although the cable doesnt seem to turn when I turn the wheel?? IIRC it multiply by six.

Something isnt right then mate, if the cable isnt turning then your not going to get any reading at all

Discovered today that the speedo cable was snapped which would explain the problem!!
