Headstock stand?

Any recommendations?
I will shortly need to get the front wheel out, I have an abba stand which lifts the rear by the swing arm pivot but will need to lift the front also.
As it looks like I may need to renew the fork seals and maybe the headstock bearings over the winter I'd appreciate any suggestions as to the best (safest) method of suspending the bike?
Don't fancy using jacks and bricks to be honest and hanging it from the ceiling sounds a bit worrying as my kids bedroom is above the garage and I don't fancy an unwelcome visitor!

thats what i use.
abba on the bike. get someone to press on the back of the bike and a pair of axle stands under the sump and it makes the job easy.

^^ That or a jack or bricks on the sump. I know you said you don't fancy doing it but it's more than sturdy enough. I you have cash to burn then buy the front lift from abba.

Yes, the Abba being a centre stand takes a lot of weigth off the front.
Other options

There's hardly any weight at the front of the bike when its on the abba stand. You can push down on the pillion seat and the front will lift or lift the front up with your hands and get someone to put something under the sump i.e. bricks, wood, tool box, milk crates, recycle bin etc....

+1...
By the time you have removed the tank & fairing etc there is sod-all weight over the front anyways??
Ratchet strap round the headstock and a roof beam also will save a lot of swearing if the jack slips....
