NC30 Rusty tank

Fiddling with my carbs had reminded me that my tank is pretty rusty on inside and I need to sort it! I read a load of posts on here a while back about draining it, sticking some old pushbike chain in and rattling it around to break off the loose bits and then putting something in there to seal it.
Can anyone remind me of what that *something* is?
Thanks
Luke

I used Petseal in mine.
Just a quick tip; don't get too carried away when you're sloshing it around. I managed to block up the breather with it, so now have a tank with an airlock

hi, make sure its as clean as possible, wash it out several time with washing powder(ask the wife, mam or just somebody female for some) and really hot water, then rinse a few more times. And makes sure its totally dry inside, i taped a small cpu fan on the fuel filler hole and left it running over night to dry it out.
Its a pain and hard work, but i did me bro inlaws bike a couple a years ago, and its been great ever since.
As my sprayer mate says 'its all in the prep'.
Cheers
Ian
