Does anyone know where I could get some calliper adaptors that would adapt vfr calipers to fit my nc29 cbr400 ??? Cheers choon

I think most people just swap the fork lowers over

I have cbr600f front shocks so internals won't fit the vfr bottoms, surely someone must make an adaptor kit??

Get some alloy and a jigsaw and make your own adaptors , make templates with cardboard and ensure the shape is ok before cutting it. Try to keep the caliper and the old mounts in a level plane and then the flex is negligable and no twist effect will be felt when hauling them on hard. If you want to give me your email addy i can send you pix of what i did to adapt 4 pots NSR to NC23 legs.

I think you might be surprised... I could fit CBR400, VFR400, VTR1000F, CB-1 fork lowers to my CB-1's forks. There is A LOT of compatibility in 41mm Honda/Showa forks.

Also - you are new. Try being a bit polite, and not just telling us it won't work, for a reason which you didn't state in the top post. What you really should have posted was "does someone make caliper adaptors for my CBR600F forks", and as you can imagine that's not an area of expertise on a site specialising in (Honda) 400's. You still haven't told us what CBR600F, there are at least 4 types of forks from the various generations, and at least 3 types of caliper were used.

ps. Try Spiegler, they make adapters to fit Brembo calipers to almost any bike you can name.

Sorry mate, I didn't mean to come across as rude. I didnt bother stating that I had cbr600f forks as The caliper mounts are the same as my standard nc29 mounts so just fort I wud keep it simple, like u said this is a 400 forum so not many people will have knowledge about 600 forks........... Thanks for the advice
