Hello all

What tools (and any tips) will I need to re-seal my GK76a (non-SP) forks?

Hi mate, they are pretty much the same as any fork, big nut on top, 14mm that holds the damper rod to the top, take this off then remove spring etc, remove circlip that holds the seal, undo the cap head at the bottom (if this turns and wont undo you'd need a notched tube to go down over the damper rod to hold the damper), then pull apart. I find 9 times out of ten the slider bushes get cut up when you do this so i renew the.
On rebuild i use the old seal to push the new one in and i think there's a how to on the front of this site.

found the guide in the downloads section, which I only just noticed after all this time :oops:
