the slides confirm not sticking open. i had my finger on the screw in order to press the hook up to connect the throttle cable in the 1st place, i'm stuck there for 2hrs

! once let go, shut off, the springs were fcuking strong. now my finger pain & numb. in the end, then i took out the whole cable, that fix it! thought could start tuning but no. but now the cable has no more freeplay, how do i adjust freeplay? i'm going to try again on tues. screws were damaged, unable to open, had to rush to shop, pay them to do, then rush back.
i'm also stuck @ the slide holder for hrs, totally unable to push out. i'm really fcuk up. i unscrew the brass nut & pushed the emulssion tube out but also unable to put it back!! it was too tight fit, man!

using fingers was impossible. should the emulssion tube be so tight fit? maybe cos mine has been there for more than 10years...
VVS, the o-rings for the main jet. what's the proper way to install? i mean, roll it all the way in the jet then screw the jet in, right? what do you guys use as a temp fuel tank to supply fuel to carbs as we need to tune with no tank? i tried a container, drilled a hole, put a shut-off valve. in the end, the valve broke, think not suitable in fuel.
all my time was wasted on these, started @ 8am happy, confident. end @ 6.30pm, tired, unhappy. i only took 3pieces of bread, skipped my lunch, in the end, till evening, i was fully exhausted with an empty stomach!
shop took only 3hrs to take out, wash, put back, tune... i'm really a shame. was my wife's birthday some more. told her i should be back home noon to bring her out but in the end evening then i made it home with nothing, whole place was full of tools, fed up just kick everything aside & took a taxi home. as in singapore we live in flats, we are not allow to do bikes in public as petrol is dangerous so i traveled 25km with it to my workplace to change o-ring+ tune, thought could finish in a day & thats it. what a day for me as a mech, i think my best work timing in it was only taking out fairings. maybe i'll have a better timing this tuesday.
