Hi all, after gathering info on gk76a carbs before i start my 1st own rebuild this weekend. may i know where is this slide holer located @? top or bottom of the carbs? i saw tony sleep's pic but its just a slide holder there as i never open up the carbs before so i hope to know the exact location. the rest of the o-rings location VVS has helped me. anyone has a pic of the slide holder on the carbs?

When you get the carbs off and remove the plastic tops you will see the white plastic slide holders with the slide sat inside. On first inspection it looks like its part of the body but is actually held in by the emulsion tube/needle jet that the needle goes down inside. On the gk73a the emulsion tube is held in by the main jet but its so long since i had a 76a apart i carnt remember if its the same. On the 73a you undo the main jet 1 turn then push it inwards with your thumb and the emulsion tube pops up towards the carb top, you repeat until its out and then using your fingers through the front of the carb push the slide holder out (if you use tools for this you FCUK the plastic).
If this is the same for the 76a post so and everyone will be wise.
