Hey is it possible to get a 12 Tooth for the front?
Or a 13 Tooth?
I know with my RS250 I couldn't get a 12 for it, but the RGV250 had one for it and they use the same engine... go figure?!

I've heard 13 is possible but why would you want to fit a 12?

Trying to set it up for use on Kart tracks, sounds silly but that is what they run these on where I live...
12 on the front might just be low enough to get me out of having to go to first for the really tight hairpins, as there is not enough room on the back to get a 60 tooth on there!

I don't think 12's are available, most chain manufacturers recommend going no lower than 13.

The Honda XR250 dirtbikes have 12 tooth sprockets as options and they use a 520 pitch chain.
A 45 rear is avaiable for the NC24, with the 13 tooth front that surely would rev it's tit's off!

yeah you would think so, but I used to run 12-53 on my Aprilia RS250 around the same track!
now that rev its and my tits off!

Would the XR250 sprocket fit the spline on the NC35?
I think they use a circlip don't they?

I'm not 100% sure but i think they do so it's easier to swap sprockets on the go in the bush etc.
