No matter how i ride the nc30, thrashing it or not after around 7 litres i have to put the reserve tap on? It's a 15/16 litre tank wtf is that about ? i have took the tank off and checked the pick up pipe thinking it may have been too long but it seems normal.

Im only getting around 55 to 70 miles before i hit reserve it's really annoying.

Any ideas as to what it could be as i expected around 100miles before i hit reserve?

Checked for leaks? That is very poor consumption.

no leaks runs very sweet its not about consumption it should be using around 13 litres till reserve but only ever put in about 7 litres ?? its bizarre? the only thing i could think off was the pick up pipe off the fuel tap inside the tank being to long but seems to be the standard fitment ! i even thought maybe its the first nc and had a smaller tank???

can't expect to put it on reserve after 50-70 mile thats ars!

Ah I understand now. So you still have decent consumption but have to switch it to reserve after 70 miles.
How many miles do you get after switching to reserve?

not really tried to find out mate you would expect a few good miles lol i'm that lucky i'll get stranded somewhere!
just seems odd to me!

Have NC30 that has similar main tank issue. Reserve needed after approximately 8 litres. Just think Honda was very conservative/inaccurate when setting the main/reserve tank volumes. Have not measured true tank size as my numb bum after 240km automatically initiates a tank refill.
