Before I get into a bidding war. does anyone think I would have problems fitting a 4JH engine into my Genesis Frame. Having read the threads on here about hybrids I am tempted to swap the engine out. When the time comes that is. :rocks:

I thik you can they still had a place to mount the frame rail on the front of the gearbox, I'm not sure though. You'll probably need to space the rear sproket to line up with the front due to the wider tyres of the 600.

A better alternative is the 3HE engine, cheaper too, if you wanted more power from it you could then build the 4JH top end onto the 3HE gearbox and end up with a 660cc.

Now there's a thought. I have what is left of my sons 3HE engine in the shed needs a top crank case as one of his conrods decided it wanted to look outside the engine. But everything else is there. What would i need Barrels upwards I asume.

you'l need the 3HE rods, they need the small end opened up - but I recall I have a crank and rods somewhere in my garage. Afterthat - yes you need barrels and pistons, head, cams.

So if I go for this engine and then build one from the two sell whats left to offset the cost. more power, be able to keep up with my son    I'll be a happy boy. Thanks for all the advice again EC. what would we do without you.
