Has anyone got a set of ram-air tubes lying about that I can borrow for a few days?

I have a pair I'd sell you....I replaced with tyga carbon.....I would recommend the same.....makes a cheap looking/feeling original look like crap. The carbons are sweet and solid...I can hold my bike upright with them....try that with an oem.

On the topic of Ram Air Tubes, what do people do to secure them in the fairing? Mine are loose against the fairing and rattle like an SOB. Is there supposed to be a rubber surround or something? Perhaps some silastic?

Cheers,

Ben.

properly secured with the two tiny philips screws they should be tight against the front cowl......however I find the original pieces are soft and really just flimsy crap. The tyga carbon tubes are solid and really lend a sense of quality to them even though they are revlon.
I did secure my originals to the front with double sided 3m tape but the tygas dion't need it. I can't move mine even if I try.

Yeah, not those fake ram-air tubes, I'm talking about the proper ram-air set-up as per my old trackbike set-up,
