May not be the right forum but as probably 90% of my posts have been in this one, and ffs there's been nearly 160 of them!
All btw asking for help not offering assistance to anyone else, I just felt the need to go on record and thank the people who have replied with advice and support and practical help, the list is endless !! just look through my posts, see your name there and the thanks are due.
I feel the bike is on the mend, and the refurb posts on here have proved an inspiration, so my plan is, get the old girl running for now, so I can enjoy what's left of the summer, then for the winter strip it down and make it like new.
Be warned though, this will result in plenty of new HELP posts
I'll post a pic of the bike "as is" or "as bought" shortly
