Hi All,

I have done a bit of searchin on here and found bits and pieces of info on spring rates but not a lot and it is in many different posts. I am wanting a guide on where to start and also thought this could be a good reference post for people to come back to without wading through pages and pages of shock length, R6, CBR600, GSXR, Nitorn suggestions etc. This is purely regarding rear spring rates.

What have you tried, was it for track or street, if track is it your wet or dry setting, did you alter the pull arm length or the rocker and how heavy are you?

All of these answers would provide good information for everyone.

Look forward to your replies and hope to get some guideance.

Cheers

The standard spring rate is pretty good for me (75kg's with gear). The standard shock length and action (at this age) is a different story.

The stock spring rate is around 9.2 kg/mm.
