new carb rubbers, to grease or not to grease?

This weekend I will be aiming to refit my carbs yet again, however having discovered the old ones were basically shot I will be using new ones just purchased from RO.

Question is "red rubber grease, or not?" or any other lubricant/fitting aid?

Hopefully new rubbers will make the task very much easier, if not a delight.

Cheers

did you get 30 ones new? I think the 35 ones are easier to fit the carbs on. I have 35 ones and never had an issue. might be worth looking for some second hand if you need to get the carbs off regularly?
