Just wondering if anybody had any experience with theses? where have you relocated your overflow bottle and is draining required?

My stock overflow bottle is currently empty just letting you know.

Hi Alex, i was reading your thread about your NC30 and i was amazed on how clean it was! bloody shmick

I saw a photo of your overflow bottle attached to your radiator, i was wondering why did you relocate it next to the lights?

For 4 reasons:

1) There were a few clearance issues, meaning sometimes it was difficult to remove/re-fit the fairing.

2) Obviously the tanks of the radiators get very hot, I worried that the heat would weaken either the cable ties or the bottle itself.

3) Having it mounted in clear view means I can see if it's overheating in case my temp gauge goes tits up.

4) It's immediately accessible so I can re-fill it if necessary within seconds.

i've recieved my overflow bottle, but i'm confused on how to install it?!?

theres two holes on the top of the bottle, i was given one tube

the original coolant bottle had one outlet on the bottom and on input on the top.

i know the new tube goes from the radiator to the top of the overflow bottle but what about the other hole?

The other is a vent, you could attach a smaller tube to it and run it to atmosphere but there's no need. I don't do this.
I've been using my overflow bottle for 2 years with no issues where it is currently mounted.
