One problem I'm having with tight turns is hands getting so near the fairing, I'm trying to learn to lean more and countersteer etc, but I was wondering if between now and Monday there was something I could do to raise the bars or push them a bit away more so they won't squish my hand into the fairing(especially on a tight right turn where it's the throttle hand so you can no longer turn the throttle, or you're forced to close it as there's no room to keep it open as much as you had it...)

If I could extend them perhaps that would help, i'll try hold them further out tonight...seems raising them they might hit the metal bar that goes from frame to front cowl...plus i suppose not much i can do from now till monday...selling bike between tuesday and 20th July

So you want to change it now, when you're selling it anyway?

Keep your pennies for the next bike.

I wouldn't bother if you are selling the bike.
But if you are desperate you could get a steering stopper from Tyga to limit the steering travel from side to side.
