Front fork protrusion

I always felt that my 'K' model '30 was quite slow to turn in, the fork caps are flush with the top of the top yoke - is this correct?
Can I push them through a bit without the front wheel fouling the bodywork.
Cheers, Phil

On the later model forks I usually have them showing 5mm or more. That should be fine with the earlier forks also if you run the correct size front tyre and the springs aren't shagged.
Raising the rear is a better option.

Ok, cheers mate
I had seen one with 10mm of protrusion & it made me wonder if mine were right.
I'll leave them flush.
