As above, is the 73 rear wheel the same as a 76 rear wheel?

If you got a 1989 'k' model with a 17" rear then yes, 1988 has an 18" rear.

thanks mate, thats brilliant, i've seen a few 73 wheels advertised as being 17" so now it all makes sense.
