im in need in a pair of head gaskets which work out to about £70 posted from DSS.

there is a FULL engine set on ebay for about £78 delivered
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... K:MEWAX:IT

anyone used them before and whats your thoughts?

EDIT:
also been told i need to change the valve stem seals if you take the valves out, ive bagged all the valves individually so i know where there from, BUT the seals ate £6.50 each + vat at DSS,

i beleive i can change these without having to remove the heads so do i risk it or change them?

I never replaced them in my race bike when I did it...it doesn't smoke...so it worked!

Do you not have the heads off anyways? If you are lapping the valves in then the heads are off anyways so why else are you removing the valves?

Ive bought the NE gasket set that was in your first post. Not fitted it yet but looks good. They are the same as the ones wemoto sell for £99

Will have to pick up some valve seals at that price, just for piece of mind!

Depends if they look like they've been leaking oil and if you damage them or not getting them in or out.

You can leave them.

However, Due to the longevity of the NC30 and especially if your planning on keeping it i'd replace the seals.. if they've lasted 20 years for the sake of 30 quid you'll get another 20 years without worrying.

Last thing you wanna do is put it all together to have it start smoking becasue the valve stem seals are leakign oil into the bores...

I hope Wemoto's valve seals are better than their rear brake seals
I had a set and I didnt like the quality (felt/looked plastic) so went with Honda.
Just my opinion and I can be a fussy fukcer at times
