Just wondered if anyone had used these?
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HONDA-VFR-400-NC3 ... 439a03058f
Or any other suggestions?
I'd prefer not to have to start cutting holes in the plastics if at all possible

Either do it right with R&G non cut bungs or leave them off.
the ones you linked are shit and will do nothing at all in a spill.
R&G non cut ones are OK - but you have to be ready to crack the engine mounts if you drop it hard enough...
I had some, removed them and don't miss them.

Thanks, thought they looked too good to be true, R & G it is then, or none at all

i use these
but modified them slighlty
http://www.coyotemoto.com/
i drilled the lower mounts out think ther like 9mm dia,
drilled to 10mm, and then use a 10mm threaded rod striaght accross the mounts to spread the load of the weight if droped, also had to cut a half moon in the lowers,
have a look in my build/project link is bellow in my signature

I've looked in the build/project link thanks, it sure looks amazing. I read through all 15 pages ffs! However couldn't see a real close up of the bobbins to see where you cut the half moon, or did I miss something somewhere? Mind you I am supposed to be working so it was a bit of a skim read of all the pages
