You'll need to replace the o-rings. probably.

Make sure you tighten everything back up to the specified torque too...

I already answered this before

There are four o-rings.. one on each end of the metal pipe and one under the metal block that the pipe bolts into.

If you remove it you should replace the o-rings.

You need:

2 x 91301MB0000 for the metal blocks the pipe goes into
2 x 91301147023 for the metal pipe itself

They'll be all old and hardened now due to engine and water heat over 20 years.. if you remove them they'll most likely disintegrate. i've always replaced them as its false economy not too for the hassle of having to drain the coolant to remove that pipe.

And if the other o-rings on the bike in that area are failing then they wont be far behind

David Silver Spares are really helpful, if you phone them up and talk to them they will tell you what part numbers you need if you don't know.

i think as well when i removed the oil pipe, i only replace the o ring on the top part bolted to the cylinder and because i never changed the over end i took off its starting to leak oil, just not got the room with that water pipe in the way :(
