Where's the best/cheapest place to get these? (wemoto and honda are the only places i know)

They are hard to buy and harder to install the bearing into the hub.
Best bet is to buy a second hand one from graham France or the like.

Wemoto cheapest but if you intend on keeping the bike for many years to come I'd go with Honda imo.
I went with Honda after faffing around with alternative suppliers and took 2 days to come from Belgium.
I have replaced all the bearings + seals and although hard not work not technical.

The big rear bearing in the hub shell is a sod to remove. Give the hub to someone with a bearing extractor. It's worth paying to get it done.

Meanwhile you can save money getting the bearings from NTN or a similar bearing supplier. They're a fairly stock size; Honda part no. 91062-MR7-003 is the rear axle needle bearing; the dimensions you need are 50X62X25. My notes say the dust seal was 50x62x5. You'd better double-check before ordering the parts. The bearing suppliers will be able to give you a quote based on the above dimensions.

The Honda needle bearing has a small seal attached, it is not a seperate part number, it is not 50x62x5 which is as Tanto states the correct size for the dust seals.

That's interesting, and if the OP is nearby, a very good offer.

On the seal, is the seal on the outside edge of the bearing, against the dust seal? I wonder if it's worth the extra cost that Honda charge for the bearing? I replaced the bearing with one from NTN, who Honda use themselves, and after packing it with grease, and re-fitting the hub, I doubt an additional bearing seal is necessary. The cost saving over a Honda bearing is significant - the NTN bearing was one third of the price of the Honda part.

Sorry, I was in too much hurry yesterday, and I forgot the other side of the rear hub! You'll need bearing 91061-ML0-731, too - this is called 6908LU by bearing suppliers. If you look up the hub drawing (btw, Mike's Honda VFR400/RVF400 Page has the entire NC30 parts manual) it's represented as "two bearings" joined together. If you go to a bearing supplier, you will have a choice; either an 6908LU made up of two separate races, or one made of one larger race. I used the single larger race reasoning it would cool more efficiently (I live in Thailand).

BTW, to remove the rear hub you will need circlip pliers to remove the circlip part no. 90652-ML0-731. Without the correct pliers, it's very hard to remove single-handedly.

I too purchased a non Honda needle bearing, it was plain.
The Honda bearing has a very small seal that goes in 1st, sealing against the hub.
I tried fitting an alternative seal but it was too big/thick and the needle bearing wouldnt press all the way in so I had to remove it and start again.
The other side I used non Honda parts as they are ordinary roller bearings.
