I'm looking at a possible purchase for an nc30 at what seems a good price.

It will be used for track as I don't ride on the road anymore.

What are they like to keep/store. Do they need maintaining over the years and would I expect to clean carbs every year?

I had one years ago but used regularly on the road. This one would only be used about 5 times a year.

The one I'm looking at is a low miler at about 12k miles.

I have a triumph tt600 that I use at the moment and like the fact it needs nothing doing to it apart from the usual oil changes etc.

Cant really keep both so need to make mind up as need to pay for wedding.
