I saw a thread on the old site about this but can't find anything now. Has anyone done this?
Does this rad cool as well as the original? I don't need to fit the fan as it's a race bike. anyone got any advice?

I think there was something about this in the old forum. How it performed i'm not sure.

I was going to fit one but when I had it in my hands it was too small and the tanks were not large enough.
It concerned me that the total volume of coolant would be less and although the core was mint it did not fill me with confidence.
I have had a recore on my old rad and am waiting to collect it sometime the end of the month.

Yes, having done a comparison I agree. the speedfight rad has 4 less cores than the NC one. I'll keep it as a spare in case mine gives up the ghost (it looks like it might do soon). Interestingly, I don't have a problem with cooling, even though it's a race bike (with standard engine). Even after a race the temp is under half way and it never loses any coolant. I'm running a HRC style overflow and that rarely fills more than half way.
