Hi all,
I am thinking about getting Rick Os' HRC jet kit for the 35 carbs and wondered what set up people are using and what the best bhp increase is?
Do you use a carb tray?
how have you vented the float bowls?
which needles?
what size jets?
with or without airbox lid?

I have done a search through previous posts, but i cant get a definitive answer (perhaps i have skiped the post or something??)

Any thoughts and advice mucho aprecio

Info is a little thin for the 35 mate but,

No carb tray
Dont think you have to vent the bowls
Theres a choice of needle and jets
And theres a HRC airbox and short stacks to complete the kit

This is about the only info out there for the 35 HRC setup
http://www.akhara.com/nc30/nc35hrcairbox/index.html
Theres jap and uk HRC manuals on the site also

Hi DM,
yer i have read through the Akhara stuff and like you say info seems a little hard to come by.
I have had a chat with Alan Russel from A+R racing and he runs his 35 with no airbox or filter, but didn't say what jets or needles he had in. Also i am thinking that if i go to the lengths of RO's hrc kit i am going to be needing the ignitec cdi too?

Does anyone have a money tree i can have a cutting from

I think the carb kit would be pointless without the HRC ignition map TBH. The box i have is the same as that one inside but the snout goes further under the headstock.
I've also heard the best way the run 35 carbs is no airbox and a hrc tray, i spose a set of needles would help but big jets would surfice for the mean time, i got some short stacks if you want em.

Yer i thought it would be best to get the cdi. I had better start saving. I may well have those stacks off you if you still have them in the future, i had better get the cdi first then get the carbs bits.
